Based in Eliot, Maine, Malmquist Builders provides residential construction services, project planning, and project management for complex, design-forward projects throughout Southeastern Maine, Seacoast New Hampshire, and Boston’s North Shore. Their work has been featured in several publications, including New England Home.
I worked directly with MQ Build’s founder, Dave Malmquist, to create a new brand direction and website that would reflect the company’s meticulous work.
The logo was inspired by mathematical notation, drafting, and design with a subtle nod to the French curve and geometric drafting templates. The website—like Malmquist’s work—speaks for itself. It’s a beauty.
